1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the website trishlawcoaching.com (the "Site") or engaging any coaching services offered by Trish Law ("I," "me," or "my"), you ("Client" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this Site or engage my services.

2. Coaching Services

2.1 Nature of Services I offer trauma-informed life coaching services, which are designed to support personal growth, healing, and empowerment. Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused relationship intended to help clients clarify goals, build resilience, and take meaningful action in their lives.

2.2 Coaching is Not Therapy Coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, or medical advice. I am not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or medical professional. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek help from a qualified mental health professional or contact emergency services.

2.3 Trauma-Informed Approach While my work is trauma-informed, this does not constitute trauma therapy. I may not be the right fit for individuals currently in active crisis or requiring clinical mental health support.

3. Booking & Scheduling

Appointments are booked through Acuity Scheduling, integrated into this Site. By booking a session, you agree to the following:

You will provide accurate and complete information when completing intake forms.
Sessions are confirmed only upon receipt of a completed booking and any required payment.
You are responsible for attending sessions at the scheduled time.
Session links and details will be sent to the email address provided at booking.
Access to Trish Law Coaching's online community is managed through Circle. By joining the community, you agree to Circle's Terms of Service in addition to these Terms.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

I understand that life happens. I ask for your consideration in return:

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours before a session will be accommodated at no charge.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of a session may incur a cancellation fee.
I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions in the event of illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full reschedule at no cost.

5. Fees & Payment

Current service fees are listed on the Site and are subject to change. Payment is collected securely through xxxx integrated payment system. By making a payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

All sales are final unless otherwise stated in a specific service agreement. Refunds are issued at my sole discretion.

6. Confidentiality

I am committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all personal information shared during our coaching relationship. What you share in sessions will not be disclosed to third parties except in the following circumstances:

Where you have given explicit written consent.
Where I am required by law to disclose information.
Where I reasonably believe there is an immediate risk of harm to you or others.

Please note that confidentiality does not extend to information shared via unencrypted email or online forms, which carry inherent risks.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trish Law shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or coaching services, including but not limited to:

Decisions made as a result of coaching conversations.
Emotional or psychological outcomes of the coaching process.
Technical issues related to third-party platforms used for booking or communication.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, worksheets, frameworks, and materials shared during coaching — is the intellectual property of Trish Law unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without my prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Platforms

This Site uses third-party services including Squarespace (website hosting and CRM), Acuity Scheduling (appointment booking), integrated payment processing, and Circle (online community platform). Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. I am not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.

10. Changes to These Terms

I reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of my services shall be resolved in good faith through direct communication wherever possible.
